back in the swing of things.

So Dustin left for the field after getting to come home for the weekend…which was a WONDEFUL surprise since that little booger said he wasn’t able to. So while he’s gone, I take advantage and spring clean the house. I have already scrubbed down the couch, I am in the processing of washing all the pillows off the couch, and the other couch’s couch cushion. How many times can I say couch in a sentence? Ha! but I have to give it a good scrubbing since well….my dog drools constantly.

It has taken me seriously 15 minutes just to write that paragraph seeing as though there is a German dude working on the apartment right below me…with it seems like a jack hammer. It’s not only pissing me off……but the dog as well. Poor guy was trying to fall asleep.

Anywho…after that post I decided that I was going to take things into my own hands and go see a doctor. He gave me some antidepressants and told me to come back in two weeks. I will say that I have only been on them for about a week now, but I seem to be a lot happier and way more motivated.

The boy gets back Friday, for a while, and there is a four day weekend because of the 4th of July. I’m thinking we should go to Berlin…no? =D Here’s to hoping!

Oh and if I do go, expect a bunch of pictures. Back to house cleaning and homework because I’m hopefully going swimming all day tomorrow with a girlfriend. I need to get my tan on!

Depression

With a deployment of my husband circling around, I find myself getting more and more depressed. I know this is what he signed up for, but it does not make him leaving any less heart breaking. Luckily, I should be going back to Ohio during the deployment, so I will constantly be surrounded by family. I cannot tell anybody this, because it does seem like I’m complaining. I am very proud of my husband, but him leaving me for a year, is just so much to handle. Hopefully, I will know more soon enough. I hate waiting around not knowing where he will be going.

He does leave again Tuesday for the field again. Which mean he’ll be gone for two weeks, and with the cell phone providers here in Germany, we can only talk about five minutes a day without it becoming exessively expensive. Being alone is great sometimes, but it does tend to get lonely when he is gone longer than a week. Hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful weather here with some friends, and get my mind off the negative things.

Now that my feelings are done and over with…I really hope everybody enjoys this layout. I really enjoy it because…well I love Lady GaGa, but then again if you don’t, you’re INSANE.

Hopefully this weekend will be full of fabulous things, like the Schwwimbad, or the swimming pool =D

Oh and my English Bulldog Sam had a play date with another English Bulldog. While it was extremely amusing, my dog and the other pooch was covered in drool after it was all over. Yuck.

Finnnnallly back

So, I’m finally back from Ohio. Although, I really do not want to be back, it’s nice to see my doggy.

I do not have too much to update other than I have finals this week, EEK! I’m feeling okay about taking them, and hopefully I get a wonderful grade =D

My husband is back for a week, then he leaves again for two weeks. I really hate being so lonely, especially in the summer time when we could be having so much fun together!

I promise after I post a new layout, I will have a better update…..SWEAR!

so excited

I have been in Ohio for about a week now, which is why I have not had the chance to update much.

My entire vacation has been fabulous so far, and I have another week and a half left! Ugh it just flies by so fast =[

I will be posting more sorry for the lack of posting, just been extremely busy. I will also return all comments as well.

sorrrrrrry

I realize I haven’t updated in forever! I feel terrible because I told myself I was making this site for me, and to look back on things later down the road, and him I am, not updating!

School and this upcoming trip back to the states has kept me incredibily busy. I have had mounds of homework, and we leave next Wednesdayyyyyy! I am so excited. The only problem being that I will have to do homework while I’m home. Last time, it did get in the way of a lot of things I was trying to do. But, I know if I do slack off, and take some time off school, I will have a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I will also be kicking myself in the ass when I could have graduated months earlier.

On another note my skin is look FABULOUS these days. Of course, I have had breakouts, and I have always lived with acne, but it has gotten better. For awhile, I was using the Clinque brand Acne Treatment, which did nothing for my face besides dry it out. I have noticed when I mosturize, my face tends to have less breakouts. Which sounds silly, but it’s working. I have also been using
Amazing.

It works so well. It is kinda pricey, but you only use the tiniest bit for your entire face. My face has never looked so great.

Another side note, I will be going to the PX (as soon as I finished this) and try and find smaller jeans!!! YEAH! My jeans just hang off me now, but I know when I get a smaller size, they will fit weird. I wish there were sizes inbetween sometimes. Oh well. We’ll see how it plans out!

most wonderful time of the year

This weekend was a loooooot of fun =D I went a wonderful BBQ, where I drink far too much on Friday night. Saturday went to a great resturant downtown, but Sunday was just filled with homework. Yuck =/

We’re getting closer to the trip back home to Ohio for three weeks. Dustin still has yet to figure out the Army situation, even though we have already bought the tickets. So I am just keeping my fingers crossed. I’m honestly so worried though.

I need to workout today, but I’m really not in the mood for it. I did not work out all weekend long, and I feel like a piece of crap haha. However, I did not eat as bad as I thought I would. Which is a plus.

Off to go clean. Ugh.

amour pour l’été

I cannot wait for summer! The weather in Germany has already gotten 100 times better. It’s simply gorgeous here. Not too hot, not too cold, and not humid. I just finished taking the stinky dog for a walk.

My weekend, was fun but very much stressful. My finals took 4 and a half hours on Sunday, but before my finals I had a wonderful time downtown with my husband, and our friend Tabor. Here are some snap shots…..

The Turkish delight known as a Dönor. Yum.

I started new classes today, so this week I will just be getting to know my teacher, and getting in a new routine for the new block. Also, I bought this DVD

It is INTENSE. I was sweating and so out of breath. It was way better of a workout than the gym, and it was sooo much better! I will be doing this from now on. I can now say I can “swing” hahaha, but I don’t think I look as graceful as the girl doing the workout. I think I looked more like a fish out of water.

Excitement!

Besides not being motivated enough to go to the gym, I will be cleaning and doing finals ALL day long. Yes, my house is that trashed. I have no idea how on earth my house gets this destroyed. I blame the man. HAHAH

Buuut my new Levis and cute new Roxy flip flops have came in the mail. YAYYY. So excited! And yes, I know I shouldn’t be shopping online, but I realllly hope these jeans fit me. I have been trying to get mid rise jeans, because I have noticed low rise doesn’t look good on anyone past a size 3. Oh and no muffin tops =D I found Levis in the German mall downtown here in Schweinfurt, and let’sjust say they are a little over priced. 100 Euro and Levis can be your’s. YES I said 100 EURO. Which is probably roughly $130 bucks. Good lord, I do not like Levis that much! Especially when you can get the same pair at Kohl’s for $30.

Off to clean, and do homework. I did however do some girl push-ups, and stuff since I didn’t go to the gym. Operation losing weight isn’t going as fast as I would like. Hopefully all this effort will pay off before Ohio =D

Krankenhaus.

So my husband woke me up at 7AM yesterday morning…

“Uhh I went to sick call, and they said I have to go to the hospital ASAP”

Okay…so rewind.

About six weeks ago, we were wrestling, like always, and I accidently put my elbow in his chest, and put my body weight on it. So, ever since then he has had really severe chest pains. We never really thought about it though, until I guess that day it was to the point of him having trouble breathing.

So we go to the Krankenhaus, which the German hospital, and after walking around the hospital for what seemed like ever, we found the tiny emergency room. Now, in the states, the emergency rooms are so full and chaotic. Well, we get there, the waiting room is seriously the size of my bathroom. I’m waiting while he is getting his vitals checked, and then get called in thinking, ohh hey maybe we’ll get a room. HAHA NOOOOPES. They put us on a bed in the middle of the hallway. Now, mind you, the hospital was NOT full. I saw maybe 6 rooms for people, and then the rest they put in the hallway. But the hallway wasn’t even full, there was just us, and another American girl in there. It was like I was in the twilight zone.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY spoke English. Six or seven people walked up to me jibbering off with German, and I seriously wish I just had a picture of my face. Then when I say, “Sprechen Sie Englisch?” they look at me, all pissy, and just say NO and walk away. It’s like I just killed their dog or something.

Ugh, I will NEVER ever, go back there unless I’m missing a limb.

So…that was my fascinating day at the Krankenhaus. I am now off to finish my finals, and maybe take a break watching Two and a Half Men.

April 12, 2010

Four day.

So, my lovely husband had a four day weekend this weekend.

What did we do?

Drank.

Let’s just say, I’m never ever ever drinking again.

On a better note, we had a great cookout at a friends house, and it was delicious. I also found that you can buy an amazing Korean BBQ sauce at our Commissary. Yum. I am for sure thinking about buying a grill too. Just a cheap one. The reason we haven’t done so yet is because being in an apartment, it’s a pain to walk down three flights of stairs to get to the BBQ. Can’t put it on the balcony, for obvious reasons, and then there is also the fact that onpost housing is like the ghetto. You never know who’s stupid kids will break something.

Also, my husband got promoted! He is now a Specialist. =D This means, more moneyyyy, and for him more power. But hey I’m just stoked about the moneys. =P

I also got a wild hair up my ass, and decided to look on Urban Outfitters for some new clothes. I got some amazing things, for 40 bucks! Everything was on sale of course, but they are adorable, and I’m excited to wear them on our trip home to Ohio. I also got this AMAZING branch wallhook for our keys and such for $4.99. No I’m serious. FIVE DOLLARS!! AHHH So excited!

Today is the 3rd Anniversary of my beautiful cousin’s death. She was so young when she past, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I do not think about her, or miss her. I really need to visit her when we go to Ohio in May. That for sure needs to go on the To Do list.
